Dancehall entertainer Rytikal is addressing producers who may have unreleased recordings featuring the artiste, urging them to obtain proper authorization from his management before releasing any material.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Rytikal called on producers to seek clearance before making previously unreleased songs available to the public. He also raised concerns about older recordings being retitled, relabeled or presented differently from their original intent, particularly when done to generate attention or capitalize on hype.
Rytikal made it clear that unauthorized releases will be subject to removal, while emphasizing the importance of respecting both the creative work and the artist behind it.
His message to producers and music industry stakeholders is straightforward: respect the music, respect the artist, and follow the proper channels before releasing unreleased material.
As Rytikal stated, “Please respect the art and the artist.”
