Reggae band Third World has cancelled its scheduled New Haven, Connecticut show with Ziggy Marley, which was set to take place on September 22. The band announced the cancellation on social media, citing unforeseen circumstances.
Third World apologized to fans who had purchased tickets and made plans to attend, noting that the group had been looking forward to sharing the live music experience with them.
The band says ticket refunds will be processed through the original ticket sales channels.
Third World also expressed hope of returning to New Haven for a future performance and thanked fans for their continued love, support and understanding.
